Our order processing time is 2-3 weeks for hand-picked book experiences. We order your book(s) to match your specific interests and put great time and thought into crafting a box individual to you. We do our best to get every order out ASAP!

Order processing time for Book of the Month orders is 1-2 weeks.

Shipping time is dependent on the shipping option you selected at checkout.

Absolutely! Just leave a note at checkout that you want a vegan/gluten free cookie and we will include a cookie (or two!) that is vegan and gluten free from Alternative Baking Company.

Shoot dang! We really try to avoid this- but alas, we don't have access to your bookshelves. If you already own a book we send you, simply fill out our contact form here, and we will send you a replacement book. We do not replace full boxes.

We ask that you gift or donate your spare copy.

Every month we choose two "Books of the Month." One book is for the Young Adult/Adult book boxes and the other is for the Kids box. You can order a Book of the Month by choosing any of our listings that end in "BOTM."

Each Book of the Month runs from the first day to the last of each month. For example, an order placed on January 31st would receive the January Book of the Month, and an order placed on February 1st would receive the February Book of the Month.

Yes, there are. We currently will not order any books from St. Martin's Press in solidarity with the boycott, which includes:

- Castle Point Books

- Minotaur Books

- St. Martin's Essentials

- St. Martin's Griffin

- Wednesday Books

We will not distribute any J.K. Rowling books.

Our list of authors, companies, or specific books that we do not distribute is subject to change at any time, without notice, and does not need to be publicized. We do not want to be a part of anything that aids in the spread of harmful ideologies and bigotry such as racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.

We maintain a "no" list because we understand that where we spend money makes an impact and sends a message. We do not want our money or yours to go towards harmful people and entities.

We only accept cancellations within 24 hours of placing an order. If you entered a wrong shipping address and your order has not shipped yet, fill out the contact form here so we can get it sent to the right place!

If you need to cancel your order and are within the 24 hour window, reach out to us via our contact form here.

Oof! We are so sorry. However, we are not liable for a package once it is dropped off with your shipping courier (USPS, DHL, etc.) We strongly recommend filing a claim with your shipping courier.
